Abstract

Abstract.The main objectives of this research is to examine the determinants of ROA (Return on Assets) of Full-fledged Islamic banks in Indonesia in the period of January 2008 – December 2011 using monthly-published report data of Central Bank (Bank Indonesia) with 3 full-fledged Islamic banks in Indonesia as the samples of the research. Panel Least Square is applied as the research method where those data had been tested with the classical assumption test, such as: normality, autocorrelation, multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity tests. However, the data could not fulfill the normality test, while the remaining assumption tests is fulfilled. The findings reveal that Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), Debt to Total Assets Ratio, Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Size and Operational Efficiency Ratio (OER) have significant effect simultaneously towards ROA. Partially, FDR, DTAR, and CAR have positive effect and significant towards ROA, while size and OER have negative effect and significant towards ROA.Size is the highest coefficient among the determinant variables, while FDR is the weakest coefficient that effect ROA in the full-fledged Islamic banks in Indonesia.Keywords: return on assets , Financing to Deposit Ratio, Debt to Total Assets Ratio, Capital Adequacy Ratio, Size, Operational Efficiency Ratio

Abstract

Abstract: Research on the branch of marketing strategy aims to obtain a picture of the perceptions of producers Bakery and Pastry in Jakarta and Bandung related efforts to increase their loyalty in rebuying raw materials due to the strengthening of Corporate Brand Equity, which influenced Product attributes and Service Quality. Population unit is the manufacturer Bakery and Pastry in Jakarta and Bandung, which has become a customer minimal 1 year, totaling 468 employers. Research is using SEM analysis tools, with 150 respondents drawn proportionally in the two study areas. Research results inform that: (1)Product attributes (ProdAt) does not directly influence the Corporate Brand Equity (CBE); (2) Service Quality (ServQ) directly influence the CBE; (3) CBE affect the Customers Loyalty (CustLoy); (4) ProdAt directly influence CustLoy; and (5) ServQ directly influence CustLoy. Recommended for: 1) Increase the required CustLoy CBE intervening variables. 2) Maintain and develop the dimensions of each variable, except the dimensions of the variable ServQ distribution services must be improved in order to simultaneously improveCustLoy through CBE.Keywords: Marketing Strategy, Customer Loyalty, Corporate Brand Equity, Product Attribute, Service Quality.

Abstract

Abstract. A pharmaceutical company at Jakarta developed a generic meropenem sterile dosage form by toll manufacturing business cooperation with another pharmaceutical company. During the process of partner selection, there was a time delay. The target plan was 4 months but in reality it took 12 months. This research evaluates factors which cause the time delay. One of the causes was the unavailability of pre-selection model. This research test a qualitative pre-selection model using variables of management, availability oftransport choices, value added services, rate profile and quality services, service characteristics and performance measurements. The six variables described into 36 dimensions and indicators. The model tested to 10 pharmaceutical companies with sterile production facility needed for production of meropenem sterile dosage form. Research method used is qualitative descriptive analysis with searching data method through observational study. The data source is secondary data. Based on the research result, timedelay was caused by several factors related to product, procedure, quality and fee. The tested pre-selection model can be used as an alternative solution to avoid future time delay in toll manufacturing partner selection.Keywords : pre-selection, toll manufacturing, pharmaceutical

Abstract

Abstract:Global financial crisis has threatened livelihoods and access to food for those who have lost jobs and income. Deteriorating in purchasing power due to decline in income and high inflation, in turn will affect food consumption. This situation undoubtly brings about the disruption in food security. The food security pillar should not rely on quantitative approach, but also on other pillars in a wider food spectrum. The ways to enhance food security is to develop food diversification based on food industry. The aim of this paper is to analyze how the impacts of global financial crisis on food security based on food industry in Indonesia. This research takes 9 groups of 5 digits KBLI code of food industry in 1996-2009 periods. The analyzed method is based on panel data using simultaneous equation model. The result shows that there is a simultaneous relation between structure conduct and performance of food industry and food security. Market structure of food industry become more concentrated in that period and GFC affected market concentration on some KBLI of food industry.Keywords: food industry, food security, structure-conduct-performance

Abstract

Abstract. This study aimed to analyse the effect of coordination, competence and discipline to employee performance ULP MORA Center. Research involving as many as 64 people as a sample of respondents with saturated sampling technique. Data retrieved by using a questionnaire filled with self-rating method. Analysis of data using multiple linear regressionmodels were processed with SPSS. F test showed that coordination, competence, and disciplined work together significant effect on the performance of employees. The results of ttest showed that coordination, competence and discipline influence on employee performance individually. Analysis shows that the correlation between the dimensions of vertical coordination in coordination variables have the strongest correlation with the work on employee performance variable, the variable knowledge competency has the strongestcorrelation with the work on employee performance variables, and corrective discipline to discipline variables correlated The most powerful of the quality of work on employee performance variables. Based on these findings, the employee's performance can be maximized ULP MORA Center through increased vertical coordination (formal meeting), knowledge (training of employees) and corrective discipline (verbal or written warning)Keywords: Coordination, Competence, Discipline, Employee Performance.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze the influence of organizational justice on job satisfaction, organizational justice influence on organizational commitment directly, the influence of organizational justice on organizational commitment intervening variable of job satisfaction, as well as the effect of job satisfaction on organizational commitment. The method used is descriptive method using questionnaires for data gathering. The population in this study were all employees of the school Santa Ursula BSD consisting of education and non-education employees. Analysis of the data used is the SEM analysis with path analysis method. Based on the results of this study concluded that the three dimensions of organizational justice, namely distributive justice,procedural justice, and interactional justice give positive and significant effects with job satisfaction. These three dimensions of organizational justice give positive effects but not significant with organizational commitment. Employee job satisfaction gives positive and significant effect with organizational commitment. These three dimensions of organizational justice give positive and significant effects with organizational commitment through employee job satisfaction, in which interactional justice has the most powerful influence than the other dimensions.Keywords: Organizational Justice, Job Satisfaction, Organizational Commitment

Abstarct. This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of Perceived Quality, Brand Image, and Promotionon Purchase Intention of the Achilles consumer in South Jakarta. Preliminary research data was secondary data from the Achilles. Research data was from questionnaires that‘s distributed tothe respondents. The sampling method use disincidental sampling by reason of ease to get respondens. By using the formulaTabachnickand Fidell, the number of samplesis determined amounted to 100 respondents, whocame fromeight storesAchillesin South Jakarta.The analytical method usedissimple and multiple linear regression. The results showed that the brand image partially significant effect on purchase intention. While the perceived quality and promotion partially have no significant effect on purchase intention. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to examine and analyze the effect of work stress, work discipline, and job satisfaction on turnover intention. Sampling method using proportionate stratified random sampling. The data is taken directly using a questionnaire with 72 respondents employees at Lembaga Pengelola Dana Bergulir, Koperasi dan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (LPDB-KUMKM). The methodof analysis usedin this research is multiple linear regression. Research shows job stress, work discipline, and job satisfactionto gether significantly influence turn over intention. This means that variation turn over intention (Y) can be explainedby the three independent variables work stress (X1), work discipline (X2), andjob satisfaction (X3). The results of the t test, showed that job satisfaction is a negativeand significant effect on turn over intention with while work stress and work disciplinehas possitive effect on turn over intention, but not significant. Job satisfaction variables are variables that most influence on turn over intention.Keywords: job stress, work discipline, job satisfaction, turnover intention.

Abstract.The study aims to analyze the value of buyback stock plan related to theacquisition of PT Indosat Tbk (ISAT). Abstract

Abstract: Industrial problems about spare parts/production equipment replacement is one of the very important issue, because this issue relates to the cost that must be issued , both as a consequence of the replacement appliance, repair or the most fatal is the lost production due to the damage. PT Gajah tungal Tbk is a large company with a very much number and type of machines or production equipment. With the number reached 2,569 machines, of course, engine components / spare parts for these machines are very many and need to be replaced periodically to maintain reliability of these machines . Replacement engine components often occurs when the engine failure has occurred. The number of machines in the PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk requires an effective and efficient component maintenance system. The purpose of this study was to determine the reliability of the replacement of machine components O - Ring Seal on Tube Splicing machines and motor on Tube Curing machine with weibull distribution.This study using software weibull 9 ++for the determination of a suitable distribution and determine the optimal time replacement components of the O-ring Seal on Tube Splicing machine and Motor on Tube Curing machine. Then the results are applied to compare the cost of maintenance of the components in the event of replacement with the replacement schedule. The result shows that weibull distribution can help determine the reliability of the preventive maintenance engine components which impact to increases the efficiency of maintenance cost.Keywords: Preventive Maintenance, Reliability, Weibull Distribution.
